How do I upgrade my subscription?

Why upgrade? Premium and Premium Plus plans offer unlimited presentations, custom branding, priority support, and access to advanced AI features that help you create professional presentations faster.

How to Upgrade Your SlideSpeak Subscription

Follow these steps to upgrade your SlideSpeak account and unlock premium features:

Step 1: Access the Upgrade Plan Option

Log in to your SlideSpeak account at app.slidespeak.co. Once logged in, look for the “Upgrade plan” button located in the left sidebar of your dashboard. This button is clearly visible and accessible from any page within the application.

Click the “Upgrade plan” button to proceed to the subscription options.

Step 2: Choose Your Subscription Plan

After clicking the upgrade button, a pricing modal will appear showing the available subscription plans. SlideSpeak offers two premium subscription tiers:

  • Premium ($29/month or $290/year): Includes 50 credits per month, PowerPoint & PDF export, AI 4.0 Presentation Generator, unlimited file size, AI presentation assistant Charles, AI document chatbot, and support for 150+ languages.
  • Premium Plus ($34/month or $340/year): Includes all Premium features plus unlimited credits, custom branded colors, fonts, and logos, custom brand image library, and priority customer support.

You can toggle between Monthly and Yearly billing options at the top of the modal. Yearly plans offer significant savings (approximately 17% discount).

💡 Pro tip: The Premium Plus plan is recommended for teams and power users who create presentations frequently and need unlimited credits and custom branding capabilities.

Select your preferred plan and click the “Subscribe” button to proceed to checkout.

Step 3: Complete Your Payment

After clicking Subscribe, you’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe payment page. Stripe is a trusted payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide.

On the payment page, you’ll need to provide:

  • Credit or debit card information
  • Billing address
  • Email address for receipt confirmation

Once you’ve entered your payment details, click “Subscribe” to complete the purchase. The transaction is secure and encrypted.

Step 4: Verify Your Upgrade

After successful payment, you’ll be automatically redirected back to the SlideSpeak dashboard. Your account will immediately reflect the subscription upgrade.

  1. Check the left sidebar – it should now display your current plan (Premium or Premium Plus)
  2. Look at your credits counter – Premium users will see 50 credits, Premium Plus users will see “Unlimited”
  3. Try accessing premium features like custom branding or branded templates

You should also receive a confirmation email from Stripe with your receipt and subscription details.

Can I change my subscription plan later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
