About this design
Where the Midnight Pitch style comes from, and what it signals.
Midnight Pitch is a fundraising deck format built for low-light rooms and venture-capital aesthetics: deep navy backgrounds, frosted glass panels, glowing orbs blurred into the corners and gradient text treatments that make numbers feel significant. The reference point is the category of SaaS pitch decks that emerged around 2020 as the default visual language for tech fundraising.
The base is #0A1838, a navy dark enough to absorb the two ambient orbs: a blue #2E6BFF blur in one corner and a cyan #22D3EE blur in the opposite, each at roughly 20 percent opacity. Panels are frosted glass, white at 5 percent opacity with a 1px white border at 12 percent. Typography is Sora for headlines and Inter for body, with body text in blue-gray #94A8CC. On every slide, one element -- a word, a number or a label -- receives a blue-to-cyan gradient text treatment. Metrics run large, around 15 percent of slide height, over small uppercase labels.
The deck is purpose-built for the Series A or B pitch to investors who filter first on whether the product looks like it belongs in their portfolio. The visual language reads as: technical, modern, funded.
Use it for
- Series A and B fundraising pitch decks
- Demo days and accelerator cohort presentations
- Product launches targeting a technical or developer audience
- SaaS annual reviews presented to investor boards
Skip it for
- Traditional corporate or financial audiences who may read dark slides as untrustworthy
- Print handouts, where the navy background and blurred orbs do not survive black-and-white printing
The slide design prompt
This is the exact text that gets sent to your AI.
Create a presentation using the 'Midnight Pitch' theme. Background: deep navy (#0A1838) with two large, heavily blurred glowing orbs in opposite corners, one blue (#2E6BFF) and one cyan (#22D3EE), at roughly 20 percent opacity. Panels are frosted glass: white at 5 percent opacity with a 1px white border at 12 percent opacity and 16px radius. Typography: headlines in 'Sora', body in 'Inter' (both Google Fonts). Headlines: white, bold, oversized, tight leading; on every slide exactly one word or number gets a blue-to-cyan gradient text treatment. Body text: blue-gray (#94A8CC). Metrics are huge (around 15 percent of slide height) with small uppercase labels. Charts: bars filled with a vertical blue-to-cyan gradient on a transparent background. Footer on every slide: a thin white rule at 8 percent opacity with the company name left and 'CONFIDENTIAL' right, in small letterspaced caps. Strictly avoid: light backgrounds, hard opaque borders, more than the two accent hues, clip art. Use this theme for my slides. Ask me what the presentation is about first, then apply the theme to every slide.View this prompt and its data on GitHub
