Where the Y2K style comes from, and what it signals.
Y2K revives the optimistic machine-age look of design from around the year 2000: liquid chrome type, airbrushed gradients, inflated translucent plastic, and pixel sparkles. The chrome headline is the signature, an Orbitron 800 wordmark filled with a silver gradient (white through #d9e2f2 and #8fa1c2) clipped to the letterforms, a technique borrowed straight from the CSS metallic-text playbook. Everything sits on an icy white-to-blue gradient with a hot-pink bloom in one corner and a cyan haze in the other, so no slide ever reads as flat.
The type system maps the era's Eurostile and Bank Gothic lineage onto Google Fonts: Orbitron for display, Exo 2 for body copy in #3a3f63, and VT323 for system-readout kickers, timestamp tags and chart labels. The palette is hot pink #ff3fa4 and digital cyan #00b8f0 over tech silver, with #8a2be2 and #9fabc6 as the third and fourth chart colors.
