About this design
Where the Quiz Night style comes from, and what it signals.
Quiz Night transplants the TV game show into a training room. The visual grammar is direct: deep game-board blue #15206B with a radial spotlight from the top edge, gold value tiles with a hard 3px drop shadow, and a fixed score strip along the bottom of every slide showing team names and points in Alfa Slab One. The competitive structure stays visible at all times.
Two Google Fonts carry the design: Alfa Slab One, a chunky slab serif, for all headlines and numbers, and Nunito for labels. Gold #F2B01E dominates the accent work: tile backgrounds, section point values and the closing FINAL badge. The question card is the most structured element, a large white panel with an oversized 'Q.' in gold, a serif question in dark blue #1A2150, and four rounded answer pills where the correct answer fills green #2BA84A with a white checkmark.
The theme requires a presenter willing to run the game. It works in learning and development settings, onboarding sessions and any context where competitive energy improves retention. The score strip and reveal structure both assume an active audience; it does not function as a passive display.
Use it for
- Onboarding knowledge checks and product training sessions
- Team learning events where competitive scoring raises engagement
- Conference icebreaker rounds and workshop warm-ups
- Internal certification reviews run in groups
Skip it for
- Executive or board presentations where the game show format reads as flippant
- Self-paced asynchronous training without a live host to run the reveal
The slide design prompt
This is the exact text that gets sent to your AI.
Create a presentation styled as a TV game show training quiz, the 'Quiz Night' theme. Background: deep game-board blue (#15206B) with a subtle radial spotlight, a lighter blue glow (#2B3DA8) centered at the top edge and fading out by 60 percent of the slide height. Typography: headlines and every number in 'Alfa Slab One', a chunky slab serif; labels in the clean sans 'Nunito', both Google Fonts. Signature motifs: gold value tiles (#F2B01E, 6px corners, a hard 3px dark drop shadow, deep blue 'Alfa Slab One' point values 100 to 500) arranged in board grids beneath dark category headers (#1B2A86); a large white question card with an oversized gold 'Alfa Slab One' 'Q.' and four rounded answer pills labeled A, B, C, D, the correct one filled green (#2BA84A) with a white check; a fixed score strip along the bottom edge showing three team names with gold 'Alfa Slab One' points, separated by thin rules. Strictly avoid: pastel colors, photographs, thin elegant typography, gradients other than the single spotlight, rounded corners beyond 12px, slides without at least one gold element. Use this theme for my slides. Ask me what the presentation is about first, then apply the theme to every slide.View this prompt and its data on GitHub
