How do I see who viewed my presentation or video in SlideSpeak?

Share analytics show visits to your presentation or video link. For presentations, you can choose a date range, view activity over time and see the email addresses of signed-in viewers. To collect names and emails from guests, turn on Collect viewer details and open Visitors.

Before you start

  • Share analytics are available on every plan.
  • Use a presentation or video you own, or one in your active team workspace. An invitation to view or edit someone else’s deck does not grant report access.
  • Analytics measure visits to share links. Turn on presentation sharing or video sharing before sending a link.

Step 1: Open a presentation’s share analytics

  1. Open the presentation in the editor and click Share.
  2. In Link settings, if shown, click View analytics.
  3. On the report page, choose Overview.

You can also check the view-count button next to Share on a computer while public-link sharing is on. The compact Share analytics card gives you an overview; use the full report for date ranges and activity over time.

Step 2: Choose a date range

Choose 7 days, 30 days or All time. The report starts at 30 days. Dates use UTC and include today.

The selected period applies to the view totals, chart and signed-in viewer list. Unique visitors count across the whole selected period, rather than adding up each day’s visitor count.

Step 3: Read views and viewer activity

  • Views counts share-link openings. A repeat visit can add another view.
  • Unique visitors counts visitors by browser during the selected period. One person using different browsers can count more than once.
  • Views over time shows activity by day, or by month for a longer history. Open View chart data to read the exact counts as a table.
  • Signed-in viewers lists the emails of people who visited while signed in to SlideSpeak, with their country when available. The list can show up to the 500 most recent signed-in viewers in the period.

Entering a name and email for attendance doesn’t add a guest to Signed-in viewers. Read their details under Visitors. See how to collect viewer details and track attendance.

Check an AI video’s analytics

AI video analytics stay in the video’s Share dialog:

  1. Open the video project. Under Generated Videos, click the three-dot menu on a finished video and choose Share.
  2. Set the share link to Anyone can access.
  3. Read Views, Visitors and Countries under Share analytics.
  4. Under Identified viewers, check signed-in viewers’ emails and countries. Click View all if more than three are available. For a list beyond the 500-viewer limit, the button says View recent 500.

This video summary covers all time and lists up to the 500 most recent identified viewers. The presentation report’s date-range and chart controls do not appear in this video dialog.

Understand what the reports count

For a presentation or video in your personal workspace, your own share-link visits don’t count while you’re signed in as its owner. In a team workspace, members’ share-link visits can count, including visits by members who can manage the presentation. Visits through an invitation or Shared with me are separate from visits to the public share link.

Use each report for the question you need to answer:

Report Use it to check
Share analytics: Overview How often people opened the share link and how activity changed over time.
Share analytics: Visitors The names, emails and visits you collected, including records kept after collection stops.
Quiz results Submitted self-paced answers or participant responses from a live session.

A link visit does not prove that someone viewed every slide, watched the whole video or completed the training.

Troubleshooting

The view count is lower than expected. Check the selected date range. Signed-in visits by the personal owner and access through an invitation aren’t counted as public-link visits. Team members’ share-link visits can count.

A viewer’s name or email is missing. The signed-in list only identifies people who used a SlideSpeak account for that visit. To collect guest details for a presentation, turn on Collect viewer details and check Visitors.

The chart has no views. Try another date range and check that you shared the public link. Opening a deck from your own library does not count as an audience visit.

I can’t see the view-count button on my phone. Open Share, click View analytics and choose Overview. The compact button is a desktop control.

The totals differ between Visitors and Overview. Attendance groups recorded viewers by email. Link analytics include repeat and anonymous visits.
