About this design

Where the L.E.K. Style style comes from, and what it signals.

L.E.K. Consulting is best known to investors for commercial due diligence: the report a private equity fund reads before it bids. This theme borrows the conventions you see in that work and in the firm's public Executive Insights. Each slide states a finding as its title, one exhibit proves it, and a source line closes it. It is an unofficial homage, with no affiliation or endorsement from L.E.K. Consulting.

The palette follows the firm's 2022 identity: green #00973a, deep green #005123 and lime #a8d500 on white, with slate #3c4846 for text. The arrow in the redesigned logo becomes the working motif. A small green chevron leads each title, verdict chips end in an arrow point, and the cover carries a diagonal wedge cut at the same angle. Titles and large numbers use Bitter, a slab serif, and body text uses Outfit as a stand-in for the firm's geometric sans.

Use it when your deck has to answer an investor's questions in order. The key questions scorecard gives the verdict first, the driver tree shows where market growth comes from, and the survey dot plot shows how customers rank the target against rivals.

Use it for

  • Commercial due diligence reports for private equity investment committees
  • Market sizing and growth driver analysis for a deal or a new market
  • Customer survey readouts that compare a company with its competitors
  • Strategy decks for life sciences, healthcare and consumer clients
  • Board updates that open with a verdict on each key question

Skip it for

  • Answer-first strategy readouts built around one 2x2; Bain Style or BCG Style fit that shape
  • Fundraising decks for startups; Sequoia Pitch Deck or Demo Day tell that story better
  • Brand and creative work, where Lookbook or Billboard give imagery room

The presentation design prompt

This is the exact text that gets sent to your AI.

Create a presentation in the 'L.E.K. Style' theme, an unofficial homage to the commercial due diligence deck of a strategy consulting firm. Background: white (#ffffff) on content slides. Typography: 'Bitter' (Google Fonts), a slab serif, for slide titles at 24 to 28px bold and for large numbers; 'Outfit' for body text, labels and tables at 13 to 16px. Heading text #161a1a, body #3c4846, muted #66716f. Color: green #00973a is the primary accent, deep green #005123 for dark surfaces and emphasis, lime #a8d500 as the second accent, gray #c4cecc for context series, rules #d4dbda, panels #f3f4f4, soft green tint #e6f8ee. The signature motif is the arrow: a small green chevron cut with clip-path sits before every action title, verdict chips are cut with an arrow-shaped right edge, and the cover and closing slides carry a diagonal wedge on the right in #005123 and #00973a, cut at the same angle. Never use rounded cards. Every content slide opens with a full-sentence action title stating the finding, two lines maximum, left-aligned. Slide types: Title slide with 'Commercial due diligence' in green 13px, a project code name and the answer as the title in Bitter 40px, a 72px lime rule, then the audience and date. Key questions scorecard: a table of four diligence questions with a verdict chip each (Supportive in #00973a with white text, Neutral in #a8d500 with dark text, Concern in #3c4846 with white text) and a one-line finding. Market driver tree: the market total in a solid green node on the left, branching right into volume and price drivers, each node with its value in Bitter and its growth rate; connectors are 2px #c4cecc lines. Market sizing chart: stacked columns in #00973a and #a8d500 with values inside, forecast years hatched with diagonal stripes, and a deep green arrow across the top labelled with the CAGR. Customer survey exhibit: a dot plot of purchase criteria ranked by importance, the client in green dots against a competitor average in #3c4846. So-what boxes: #e6f8ee fill, 3px #00973a top border, a green label 'So what' or 'Implication' and one or two sentences. Closing implications: full #005123 background, lime label, white Bitter title, three implications under 3px #a8d500 rules. Footer on every slide: a 1px #d4dbda rule, 'Source:' and 'Note:' lines in 10px muted text bottom-left, the project code name, 'strictly confidential' and the page number bottom-right. Strictly avoid: the L.E.K. logo or wordmark, claiming affiliation with L.E.K. Consulting, rounded cards, drop shadows, gradients on content slides, purple or blue accents, topic titles like 'Market Overview', pie charts, 3D charts, legends where direct labels fit, stock photos, decorative icons, centered body text, more than one exhibit per slide, data slides without a source line.
